Everyone's Talking About Redmi. Have You Jumped On The Bandwagon Yet?

Redmi, or Hongmi is a reference to its Chinese name 红米 meaning red rice.

If you have not already heard, Redmi have been selling like hotcakes in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and now Singapore, it's first venture outside China.

When I first learn that Redmi is a China phone, the first question I asked myself is "will it explode"?

All that caution is thrown out of the window when I'm reminded that iPhone is also made in China. Some of Redmi's components are made in FOXCONN, the same factory that assembles iPhones.

To be honest, I do not know much about phones. I know nothing about MIUI or Snapdragon and I can't tell WDCMA apart from GSM.

All I knew is, this phone is a bargain at SGD169!

Review: LG Optimus 4X HD

I just laid my hands on the LG Optimus 4X HD aka LG P880, which is the latest phone from LG.

I am not a very technical person so I will not be touching on the technical aspects.

All I know is that this model is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

It possessed 12GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a external microSD card.

As this is my very first LG phone and also my first Android phone, what I shared here are based on my own personal experience especially with the camera aspect of this phone.

Apple's Ipod Nano 6th Generation

When I received news of the replacement program for the 1st Gen iPod Nano last December, I procrastinated till March this year before I finally send in my set to be replaced.

(Refer to the Apple's Official Statement here)

The replacement could not have come at a better time as the battery in my device was just beginning to get cranky.

Even after a full charge, the power would be depleted within ten minutes which is about the length of two songs.

After dropping my Nano off at the service centre, I waited for four weeks before I received the email to pick up my new MP3.
